(meteorobs) IMO Visual Meteor Report (GRALE), Night of 23-Feb-2001
Well, this is the last of February's observing for me: and I have yet
to get in a single hour in March yet! Here's hoping for one of these
upcoming dark moon nights to be clear here in Murky Pond Bottom, USA
(better known as New England...)
Some time tomorrow, I will post a (much briefer) SUMMARY of each of
these WSP nights' data, along with my "best and worst" meteors all
four nights, to the 'meteorobs' list. Note that by devoting just a
few hours on a lawn chair during that marvelous week, I noted some
very intriguing (and hopefully scientifically USEFUL) meteor data!
And of course, you can do this, too... :)
BTW, this session was the one non-plotting session of my WSP trip. I
got to observe with fellow 'meteorobs' member Jeff Wilson, who has a
great fortune to live down in Florida. Thanks for heading all the way
down to the Keys to observe with me, Jeff... It was a blast!
[Norm, Bob and Wayne - please save the last three reports to go with
my charts when they arrive? Thanks!]
Clear skies all,
Lew Gramer
