(meteorobs) re C/2001 A2 Linear Outburst




A bit OT, but...

I know C/2001 A2 Linear is a bit further away than t'Earth at the mo'
[~1.25 AU], but given that the other day's solar xray flare hit us early
this UT morning, causing some impressive geomagnetic storms in some places
[apparently, the usual cloud here!!!], and this comet's gone all outbursty,
would anyone who knows about such things like to comment about any possible
implications connection-wise?

Incidentally, I take it that this comet's orbit in no way intersects our
own [re any future showers etc].
