Re: (meteorobs) comet LINEAR 2001 A2 orbit



As far as I'm aware, none of the methods used to determine the radiant of
the possible shower use dust trail calculations, and assume particles were
emitted several (many) revolutions previously.  Again, without doing any
calculations it seems unlikely or impossible for particles to intersect the
Earth's orbit if they were ejected this apparition.  If however particles
were ejected on previous orbits, an annual shower is a possibility but
activity this year would not be especially favoured over the previous few to
next few years.  Still well worth a look.
