(meteorobs) Lyrids from S. Carolina

Due to a string of clear weather, I was able to observe the Lyrids over a
four-day period. In a nutshell.....little activity was noted. As expected, I
saw minimal activity on three, pre-peak mornings with only 5 Lyrids recorded
during this period. The night of maximum started off with some clouds, but
soon cleared up. Unfortunately, limiting magnitudes were not that good that
morning. Looking at my past Lyrid observations since 1990, the activity this
year most closely resembles that from 1993 when I saw 9 LYR/9 SPO
(0545-0645) and 14 LYR/14 SPO (0645-0745).

Below are the quick summaries of my sessions....full reports will be sent to
the International Meteor Organization.
