Thanks for the reply Huan.  Maybe next time I'll remember to observe from the
less desirable site the night before max!  Still; that was the overall
impression and I'm sure many fainter Lyrids may have been lost to skies with
a lower L.M.  I'm still learning the ropes as far as "serious" meteor
observing goes.
