(meteorobs) Observation May 1/2 from Slovenia



Hi!

The last night in this dark sky period I observed for almost two 
hours from a nearby location. Due to a (relatively) low altitude and a 
high concentration of aerosols the sky was pretty washed out 
towards the horizon but was good high up. Meteor activity was 
much lower that two nights ago. The first hour had a fair number of 
sporadic meteors along with a beautiful Eta Aquarid that shot all 
the was from Cassiopeia to the setting Moon in a few seconds. The 
second hour however was a dissapointment. Meteors were almost 
extinct, only four were seen in this entire period. The observing 
summary is posted below.
