(meteorobs) Eta update- FM obs
Eta Aquarid report 8/5/01 & 9/5
Hi all
Again on the 8th saw quite a few trains between 19:15 - 2200 (then I had to
go out) UTC. The 9th seems to be quiet by 20:19, so it is all over!
Here are the results
98.5 Maryborough x5 longest= 1:40mins (although it was more like 2 trains
back to back)
105.7 Toowoomba x3 @ 25 secs
93.7 Gympie x2 @ 20 secs
Couldn't run the 3rd setup as I'd run the batteries flat in the tape
recorder!
In all, I recorded around 45 mins worth of trains for the Eta Aquarids 2001.
Not bad at all.
Remember: that not all trains relect the frequency I am tuned to, so
therefore the maths don't always add up in terms of trains heard &
Frequencies heard.
