RE: (meteorobs) Odd "vortex" cloud photo......
Check out the site Robert recommends. It a superb explanation of what we
see in the new picture. I hope somebody forwards it to Art "Ding Dong"
Bell....oh that's right, he wouldn't want a real scientific reason that
didn't involve a gummint conspiracy...

This same cloud phenomena actually popped up on the aussie weather mailing
