In the long term, video observations will clearly take on a more major role,
but I should add that my present setup gives a directional accuracy of
much better than 1 degree for most meteors, and the angular velocity is
known with high accuracy. Once routine nightly two-station observations
begin, the video observations will go into another dimension yet again.

I should add that I am a neophyte to regular observations. The AKM, DMS and
Japanese have been producing results for many years. However I have made
video observations of meteors off and on since 1983.

Cheers, Rob
