At 11:25 PM Channel 8 TV's (Lancaster, PA) Rick Whalen reported
from Salladasburg, PA. The local Fire Chief was interviewed.

The Fire Chief sayd, "we think some landed there.  We're not really sure."
A 20 to 25 foot area of corn is scorched with burned leaves.  There is
a grey dust on the leaves.

People were in the field watching deer and they saw something. 
The farmer who owns the land saw the flash but didn't see it land.
Another unattributed witness was "knocked off his feet" by the
boom.

Tomorrow State Emergency Agency personnel will travel to the
site, according to the report.
