No, the fireball is NOT today's (Friday's) Astronomy Picture Of the Day.

But it will be the "APOD" for TOMORROW, Saturday. So some time tomorrow
morning, why not check out a fine picture (I'm unsure which one) of our
most recent bright celestial visitor, at the following URL:
