Dear Jim,

Of course, it is hard to judge from another side of the Globe :-), but
description of the Arizona "impact"
http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/local/8_2_01meteorite.html
more resembles not a fulgurite formed in the site, but some
fulgurite(?)/rock mysteriously transported during a lightning strike, like
for example in this event
(reading demands DJVU plug-in):
http://abob.libs.ugadot edu/bobk/fball/nyt/04141879.djvu
Anyway, as the description is very limited, I am off any conclusion and
would like to wait for more info - hoping Jim will inform about details
soon.

Best wishes,
Andrei Ol'khovatov
