For those who aren't familiar with the use of a shoestring/cord to align up a
meteors path....the color of the cord makes a big difference. I found that a
white cord is a lot better than a black or dark cord. A white cord will
appear darker against the sky background than a dark cord. This makes it
easier to align the path of the meteor with the cord.
