Re: (meteorobs) photos of perseids
In response to Ulrich's message
regarding photographing the Perseids, film type, exposure length etc. The
first thing you should be asking yourself is: "What are you trying to accomplish
and what is the purpose of doing this?" Are you doing this just to get
some interesting photographs of meteors or do you intend on extracting
scientific information from your efforts? If the latter, who will or can
make use of your images? The end user should be asked for their
recommendations.
If your doing this for fun, you
can pretty much do your own thing! If cooperating with someone doing a
scientific program standard proceedures should be set so results from various
locations can easily be compared.
