Re: (meteorobs) Quadrantids in 2001



A Japanese-led ham-radio meteor observing project - their homepage
is at homepage2.nifty.com/~baron/radio.htm - has detected a clear
signal of the Quadrantids this year: It's the only significant
outburst in the worldwide data which they are showing as a poster here.
Amateur meteor radar (they have dedicated transmitters): a most
interesting approach and not expensive at all (the hardware costs
about 20 dollars, I was told, and the software is free).
