(meteorobs) Re: is this good timing?



Arlene,

Although the Perseids put on a good show from the surface the actual
particles in space are very far apart and less numerous than the recent
Leonid encounters which spared all the orbiting satellites. The odds of
the shuttle or the space station being struck is, well......astronomical
:)
