Re: (meteorobs) Dewing problems.



    Thanks, you've told me what I needed to know.  There are products I know
that are like that, resistive wire used to keep pipes from freezing is one
example.  As I think about it, I have seen aircraft mechanics use the
stainless steel lock wire used to secure bolts and nuts as a hot wire to cut
plastic.  It isn't insulated, but at lower temperatures some heat shrink
tubing would work.  I need to do something like this, as the lens was
fogging up within a couple of minutes of being cleared.
