I have replied to Charlie privately with more detail than this that follows.
To save the list starting what is really an off-topic thread there are
several things to note. Firstly it wasnt ISS, that went by after Charlie
stopped looking (at 05:52) CDT. Secondly there are NO bright satellites that can
be seen moving East to West at latitudes like the state of Oklahoma.
Those few objects in highly retrograde orbits are binocular objects.
In all fairness to NASA one can find several ways of getting ISS predictions
from the spaceflight.nasadot gov site. As already mentioned the output of
www. heavens-above.com is to be preferred as it is much more understandable
to novices and journalists.
