(meteorobs) Observation report October 14

Hello list,

Last night we had our monthly public star party on Oahu's north shore. The weather was variable cloudiness, but near the end it cleared nicely and gave me an opportunity to do a short session. (I also got a nice look at the approaching Christmas comet C/2000 WM1 in a 15" scope, about mag 11.8 with a short tail developing.)

A total of 14 meteors were seen. Half of them were of the anthelion complex (NTA/STA), some of which were nice bright ones too. This was not surprising given the radiant near the zenith. Of the other active showers, only the Delta Aurigids showed any activity with just one member. No ORI or EGE tonight.

Follows is my report. (Hope the columns line up!)
