(meteorobs) Report for October 18/19, 2001 (Oregon)
There wasn't any cirrus this morning, but the same hazy halo around Jupiter and LMs about the same. Perhaps local wood stove smoke was to blame. Temperature was more moderate, 28-30 degrees F.
In any case, meteor rates were better, especially the Orionids. Taurids were active but dim, Epsilon Geminids were almost absent, and the Northern Apex produced 9 meteors.

Meteor 36 was a low, slow meteor that crawled for about 7 seconds along the western horizon from Lacerta to SW Pisces.
