(meteorobs) Thursday's Classroom: A Shower of Leonid Lesson Plans

There is also a link from this page to some excellent materials on the
Deep Space 1 probe, that recently took the "best ever" close up images
of a comet's nucleus! It's really worth browsing, as always, Tony... :)

The upcoming Leonid meteor shower could be one of the best in decades.
It's an opportunity to impress your students with happenings in the night
sky and, perhaps, to transform some TV watchers into life-long sky
watchers. Today's episode of Thursday's Classroom features lessons and
activities that will build anticipation for the meteor shower and help you
prepare to observe it. Visit http://www.thursdaysclassroom.com for
details.
