Dear (Leonid) storm hunters,

Now, after the storm of  8 November, we are having frosty conditions and clear skies above Belgium. For me, this was an excellent test before joining my fellow Dutch colleagues on the Sino Dutch Leonid Expedition to Xing Long in China. I hope that Casper, Sietse, Arnold and Jos are save arrived at the Beijng airport this night.

I looked out this night for early Leonids. Alas, I didn't see any member of "the king of the meteor showers". But there was a nice Taurid activity. Most notable was a swift -1 Sporadic with persistent train. I stopped this session after the moonrise ( 0.45 UT).

Perhaps I try a new session this night (10-11)

To catch an early Leonid is the purpose !
