(meteorobs) USA weather

I'm hooked on weather satellite photography, but I wonder what our
weather forecasters think of the very accessible (text) USA state
and local/zone forecasts on this site:

 http://iwin.nws.noaadot gov/

Here's an example of a very enviable five-day forecast, for
northern Arizona:

 http://iwin.nws.noaadot gov/iwin/az/state.html

AZZ001>018-036>040-151130-
NORTHERN ARIZONA
430 PM MST WED NOV 14 2001
[snip]
.THURSDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS FROM THE LOWER 20S IN THE
MOUNTAINS TO THE MID 50S ALONG THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER.
.FRIDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS FROM THE UPPER 40S IN THE MOUNTAINS
TO THE UPPER 70S ALONG THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER.

.EXTENDED FORECAST...
.SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY DAYS AND CLEAR AT NIGHT.
LOWS FROM AROUND 20 IN THE MOUNTAINS TO THE MID 50S ALONG THE
LOWER COLORADO RIVER. HIGHS FROM THE UPPER 40S IN THE MOUNTAINS
TO THE MID TO UPPER 70S ALONG THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER.

The deep south and mid-atlantic states that I looked at seem to
be promising, at least from this far in advance.

I'm getting discouraged about the Texas outlook, after telling so
many people about the Leonids. But I'm preparing to travel pretty
far if necessary if it will get me to some clear sky. How does
one take one's lawn chair on an airline flight...?

Clear, dark nights to all--
