Optional FULL IMO/NAMN Observing Report:
Our first night at Xinglong Station. I observed with
several crack DMS members the first period, and then
with our excellent host, "Zhu Jin boshi", during the
final lovely hour before dawn. Jin and some of my DMS
colleagues were quite pleased to see a fine Zodiacal
Light display with me just before dawn - their first
time seeing this phenomenon ever!

One 30 minute break taken 19:53-20:23. Highlight of
the night (other than the extraordinary company, of
course!) was a magnificent yellow North Taurid, seen
at 18:47:23, fragmenting three times and leaving a
fine greenish 1 sec train. I estimated it to be -4.5
while the consensus of my colleagues seemed like -3.
