I used to call up the National Weather Service all the time with weather
questions when I was a radio news reporter. Wednesday I called my local office
and spent at least five minutes with a very helpful weatherman discussing cloud
cover. He really helped me decide on a location. So far it looks as if his
prediction is going to work out perfectly.
I suggest U.S. residents call their local NWS office and ask a real live
weatherman. I think they have 24 hour service. (Your tax dollars at work!) I
found the number in the government pages of my directory.
