(meteorobs) RE: meteorobs-digest V3 #790

Hi!

I came out to observe at 08:30 UT. but the sky was covered a with thick
haze.
Sirius could barely be seen at intervals. No observations possible, so I
went to bed
My brother in law, Bernardo Restrepo, took a try at it at 09:00 UT from same
observation point. He is more dogged-minded than me, so he stood up for 1/2
an hour and
reports 4 bright observations, maybe mag 1-0 (seen in spite of haze) and one
more in the wrong direction, probably an Orionid.
If observation location is useful for anyone, it was 5 deg. 55 min North, 75
deg. 45
min West

Yours truly,
