(meteorobs) Leonids Nov 17/18 from Mt. Lemmon, AZ (KACJA)
Hi!
We are back from the US and I have finally managed to transcibe
my tapes into computer. For the peak night I observed from Mt.
Lemmon, AZ, together with Jure Atanackov, Dave Holman, Tom
Kucharski, Bob Lunsford, Ana Mancic and Jure Zakrajsek.
My highest 1-minute Leonid count was 53 in one minute starting at
104600 UT, although rates above 40 LEO/min could be seen from
1033 to 1105. Below you may find a summary report with periods
of about 5 minutes. I also managed to photograph a few hundreds
of meteor trails and few persisting trains, I will post them to our
homepage when I scan them.
