    My family and I toured northern Arizona, including the Grand Canyon, 
Meteor Crater, the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest in the days 
leading up to the Leonids. As we drove through Kaibab National Forecast 
(during the daytime) I remarked to my wife, Renate, that " . . . THIS is 
where we should be watching the Leonids from!"  Just gauging the overall 
scene I just knew that this region likely was capable of producing very dark 
and pristine skies.  I'm glad that Jure's commentary verified this!
