(meteorobs) Improving FM selectivity [for radio meteors]




For those who are new to this way of observing meteors - One way to
improve the selectivity of your FM tuner is to get narrower ceramic
filters installed. Most tuners take 2 or 3 but some to take up to 6(I
think Onkyo uses 4 to 6?)
I recommend Murata brand filters. I use the 110khz & soon some 80khz
filters. You can buy them in small quanities from - 
Bo-Kristian Lindqvist <bkl@sci.fi>. 
Yes he is in Finland - but hard to get anywhere else.
Murata itself only sell in high volumes = >500+ units!
