 Beautiful. Yes these Russian fisheyes are very good optically and 
 recorded a large number of meteors that night.  I had a 16mm f/2.8
 one at the same site YK was (180 deg field across the 35mm 
 negative diagoenal), and Petra Rendtel had a 30mm f/3.5 (for
 6X6cm format). I already had a quick look at Petras negatives 
 which  and counted more than 20 meteors on some of them. My 
 best ones have 15-20 in 10 minute exposures.

Too bad I missed it. They took the site down  -  "exceeded its allocated data
