I'll venture a guess that possibly it was part of the Russian 
launch at 18:04 Dec 1 UTC:

 http://www.spaceflightnow.com/news/n0112/01proton/

I believe that it was one of these (a Proton launch vehicle) 
that was observed on a similar track over west Texas, western 
Oklahoma, Kansas, etc., a year or two ago.
