I'm 17 and I just happened to see it and wanted to find out about it so I
just joined the list...
I saw it when my friend yelled at me to pull over that he saw what appeared
to be a bunch of large meteors falling...so I pulled over...they were nice
and strong...a lot of particles with a green hue...they seemed to burn up
slightly and maybe even slightly separate...they seemed to turn more of a
orange flame color toward the horizon...there still seemed to be quite a few
particles as it vanished past the horizon...elev. in levelland is approx.
3500...when i first saw them they were directly overhead...So far I've spoke
to about 11 witnesses who saw the same thing.
I bet it'll be all over the news tomorrow
