(meteorobs) Observation December 11/12 from Oregon
My second Geminid observing night; Geminids fairly rich
and sporadics poor. Fog interrupted the watch once,
scrubbed out well, then interfered again and ended it.
The signature meteor of last night was a long -3
fireball; this night's was a short magnitude 0 near the
radiant. (Actually, more impressive were three very
slow, orange sporadics within 15 minutes from the west,
magnitudes 0, 1, and 2, after I had stopped the watch
and was lingering to see whether it would clear out
again.)

REMARKS:
Slight overall haze/fog; moving in and intensifying at 0925, causing break.
Also covering sky at 1013, causing end of watch. Could have continued after
1030, but didn't want to begin a new interval.
Npx = Northern Apex; Spx = Southern Apex (none seen this morning)
~ = wake (train of <1 second)
