(meteorobs) IMO METEOR SUMMARY REPORT, 20/21-Jul-2001, GRALE
Here is an extremely old observing report - nearly five months! I am
doing an end-of-year "clean up", finding ALL the "full reports" which
I never got around to submitting during the year, and sending them in.
Why did I post this one to 'meteorobs'?? To inspire others to get all
their reports in, too, of course! ;> And to remind you in the coming
year, to GO OUT AND OBSERVE... No matter how cold it might be, or how
low the activity (and it can be low in February and March!) Just re-
mind yourself of something someone reminded ME the other day: "EVERY
report counts" - especially from the very quiet times, when you may
be the only observer on earth to capture *that particular hour*...
Clear skies all, during the Ursids and Quadrantids, but also during
all those "quiet times" we may face in the coming months. :)

GENERAL COMMENTS ABOUT SESSION - Use as many lines as needed below this one...
================================================================================
Session at New Hampshire Astronomical Society's "Young's Farm Observing Site",
with new observers Rachel Aubuchon (AUBRA), Mike Melnyk and Mike Aramini.
A lovely night, but I hear fog plagued locations at lower elevations this night.
"DCV" is Distance from Center of Vision, a possible measure of perception:
Average DCV for all meteors 24.545
Non-IMO Showers (or classes of Sporadics) Observed:
MNEM Shower Name Lambda Delta Spd 1-5 "N" "Mavg"
nax Northern Apex 29 26 4 4 3.375
sax Southern Apex 29 -4 4 1 2
ant Antihelion 314 -16 2 2 2.5
acg Alpha Cygnids 306 47 3 1 3
The 'mnemonic' would appear in the comments column.
All non-IMO data per Robert Lunsford Weekly Outlook.
