Greetings Meteor Enthusiasts!

Finally, a clear night!  So with no further ado my
customized report is as follows!  

Date: Dec. 7/8, 2001
Observer: Mark Fox
Location: Newaygo, Newaygo Co., MI USA  
(43 deg. 27' N,  85 deg. 49' W)
Elevation: 780 feet first session; 760 feet second 
session --- Was standing in the lake.
Total Teff: roughly 0.85 hrs.
Temperature: 36 F (02 C) @ 2:45 UT, Nov. 7
Recording Method: memory
Total Dead Time: roughly a minute  
Breaks: none 

Average LM For Both Sessions: About +5.4. or less. 

I used the following star areas:

During First Session:

Obstruction due to trees, hills, etc. across the WHOLE
sky: roughly 40%, not including all the cracks visible
through the trees.  This includes both sessions.
 
Cloud Cover (First Session): Some very thin clouds or
haze visible in Pegasus and elsewhere.  Nothing too
appreciable that I recall.

Cloud Cover (Second Session): 0% at beginning as far
as I could tell.  Roughly around 60% of the open
(unobstructed) sky was affected by thin clouds at the
end of this last session.

Teff: roughly 0.325 hrs; from 23:22 - 23:42 UT 
(6:22 - 6:42 P.M. EST)
Field of View: Pleiades, Pegasus, Cygnus, and most
adjacent constellations.
Dead Time: roughly 30 sec.

     1    Started roughly at the left edge of         
          Pegasus, and blazed towards the southern 
          sky.  Path Length: long; roughly 30+ deg.

     2    Started roughly at the left edge of         
          Pegasus, and traveled towards the 
          southern sky.  Path Length: roughly 10 deg.

Teff: roughly 0.525 hrs; from 1:28 - 2:00 UT 
(8:28 - 9:00 P.M. EST)
Field of View: Ursa Minor, Auriga, Gemini, Cygnus, and
probably the zenith, and most adjacent constellations.

Dead Time: roughly 30 sec.
