(meteorobs) Evening Quadrantid activity possibilities this year

Looking over Robert Lunsford's Quad info for this 2002 apparition -

It is interesting to me to note that this puts me (+38.5 N lat.) at
my main observing site in a fine position to see at least some
possibility of a grazer or even several with fairly dark sky
to the NW right after dark. Radiant will be approaching
it's low point grazing the horizon here in KS, but I point to the
Leonids at rates of 250 an hour around radiant rise the nite
of max and I saw 7 in less than 20 min. with an avg. of
50% cloud cover, as a basis of possibility.

Sunset is about 5 pm here local time,
if the peak is indeed late the evening of the 4th might be
of interest to observers with the smidge of dark sky observing
avail. at my latitude or N to take advantage of the "chance"
to see some Quad grazers around to +6 hrs of
max projected activity.

If I recall correctly Norman back in the past even from his
latitude saw 1 or more eve. Quads once.
