(meteorobs) quads from Kansas

I observed in back of my house in Olathe, KS. The house blocked the moon so that was kind of good.

I just wanted to catch an hour. Never have done this shower due to bad weather, timing etc

4-5 am I only saw a few but they were memorable

Start off near 4 there was a mag 1 blue white up the handle of the big dipper.

A beautiful non quad zipped under Bootes 2nd mag for 15 degrees. Yellow and red /orange very slow for about 3 seconds and left a yellow .25 train.
Was there a meteor shower going on north of Bootes?

Saw a nice quad -1 brilliant white

Not a lot of numbers but they were nice. All different colors and types. Still wished I could have seen Leonids. I traveled all the way to Colby KS and wasted 12 hours or more trying to find clear skies.

arggghhh
I will be somewhere clear for Nov 2002

Anyone see that red yellow one?

I will try tonight if I can
