Re: (meteorobs) Higher activity last night?

Hi All
I to have notice since the March 10/11 what I believe
to be heightened activity in the area of of Ursa Major
and Leo.I have been trying to get a video all sky
camera going and have been out at night. Most meteors
that I have observed from this area of the sky have
been in the 3 to 4 magnitude but did see a a couple -1
or brighter. Most meteors were blue and yellow in
color.Talk to Jim Gamble at the El Paso All sky camera
and ask about heightened activity. Jim knew of none.
Also Check the meteor shower list .For this night the
list showed a peak for the Usrid-Leonid. This shower
remains active until March 18. Could this be the
source of this increased activity
