Oepik (not that his name has umlauts on it) is sort of a bible of meteor
physics, Wayne, but may be hard to find. Another excellent source (and at
least slightly less outdated than Oepik), is D.W.R. McKinley's tome:

Meteor Science and Engineering, McGraw-Hill Book Company, New York, 1961.
