Tonight while outside I observed the orange light again in the West but something different happened to it.

At 8:18pm local time, I witnessed the same strange orange light that had me guessing for a few nights. This time though while it was travelling across the sky bits started to fall off it (straight down), then a large piece of it fell off and the main part grew very dim until it vanished from sight. My only explanation is that someone had been playing a prank, by using a helium filled balloon and firelighters. It has been done before a few years ago, many reports came through of UFO's etc...

I am now happy that this case is now solved. at least I hope it is.
