Re: (meteorobs) Leonids 2002???

Hi folks,

I have a paper with (a.o., for the main focus of the paper is on a different
aspect) rate restrictions for 2002 in submission with the Monthly Notices of
the Roy. Astr. Soc., which has been provisionally but not yet definitely
accepted (just submitted the revised version). Untill the paper is finally
accepted -within due time I hope and expect, given the very friendly peer
review it received- I will not say too much about it, but as a short
'pre-view' for the benefit of the current discussion I give the following
ZHR range figures to go with for 2002, as my contribution to what David A.
calls 'the numbers game' (and indeed, a game it is!):

- 7 revs trail ZHR 2500 minimum to 7100 maximum;
- 4 revs trail ZHR 3000 minimum to 6500 maximum;

....with chances best that the minimum figures are the ones to go for, I
suggest, especially for the 7 rev trail.

That's all for now, perhaps more later.

Cheers,

Marco Langbroek (DMS)
