Not quite Derek, more
like 1500, but still amazing. Most
have lowered the 30,000 to around 2500-8000. The 30,000 prediction was made before
2001 and has since been revised by most experts.

2002???
Hello.
Not to rain on anyone's parade, but no matter where the full moon is at night
it washes out the sky. Thats why I stop observing after half moon. But even if
the moon blocks out 2/3 of the meteors, that still leaves us with 10,000 per
hour. Still an amazing shower.
