Re: (meteorobs) IRC chat - what is name?

Michael, to access the '#meteorobs channel' - during the hours when one of us
might actually be on there chatting - you must do two things:

1) Make your mIRC software connect to server irc.daldot net (or any DALnet server)

2) Do the following IRC command:
     /join #meteorobs

Anyone can do this with ANY "IRC client" (mIRC, SIRC, Ircle, snak, etc.) Once
on, you can talk in real-time with other meteor observers around the world.

The hours we generally hold chat sessions are after 11am Eastern US time on
Saturdays, and after 8pm Eastern US time on Monday nights. If you really want
to chat on the '#meteorobs' channel, and there's no one there when you arrive,
try sending an email out to the 'meteorobs' email list!

That's all there is to it. Hope to see some of you on IRC soon,

Lew Gramer
