Re: (meteorobs) An interesting meteor-like object

Dear Jim and All,

From your post it seems that you, Jim are completely sure that the Turkish
event is a fake/hoax. As I consider you as a serious researcher (and a
person), it means that you evidently have solid facts that it was a fake. I
would like to know these facts. These facts are especially important, as
this Turkish group is rather well-known and respectable in Turkey. And they
cooperated with seismologists worldwide, including USA (and as
close to you as in Albuquerque, NM), as they discovered that some of
anomalous lights they investigated were precursors of devastating
earthquakes in Turkey, i.e. as seismologists say "earthquake lights".
Regarding their UFO-believe, it is their right/choice - some people believe
in God, for example,
but it is not a reason to announce them hoaxers, unless you have strong
evidences, at least. So I hope that you
will announce the strong evidences, if you have, of course.
Anyway, I wish you success in your serious scientific research.

Best wishes,
Andrei Ol'khovatov
