Astronomical Society Orion from Maribor is organising it's 7th Summer astronomical camp, this year with a special emphasis on meteors. The main aim of the camp is good coverage of the Perseid meteor shower which peaks on August 12th.

The camp will take place from August 8 to August 15 2002 on Ribniska koca. Ribniska koca is one of the best and darkest places found in Slovenia for astronomical observations.

The cost of participation on the camp is 100 EUR, which will be paid on the camp. It includes a bed and three meals per day.

The number of participants is limited, so please apply as soon as you possible. The application deadline is July 25th, 2002.
