(meteorobs) meteor watch 27/07/02
Hi!
Sky was quite clear yesterday (well, lm=5.0 might not seem that clear to you,
but for the evening sky in southern Germany, with a waning moon starting to
rise it's ok) so I decided to go out and observe. Unfortunately the moon went
up a bit too soon to finish a whole hour teff. This is my report:

Comments: Best meteor of the evening was a +2,5 sporadic, it crossed nearly
the whole sky (and thus wasn't a Northern Delta Aquarid, although it seemed to
radiate from that region) and seemed to be brightly coloured (I know, it
wasn't bright enough to see colours) leaving a slight train, that disappeared
very shortly (ca. 0.1s) afterwards.
Greetings
Daniel Gruen
