(meteorobs) Observation July 28 2002

Hi, 
 
weather is still fine in southwestern Germany and I'm still 
on holiday (and I hope none of these will change soon), so I 
decided to go out again. Moon is waning, but still quite 
disturbing and I had to stop observing when it rose about 
local midnight. The nice sporadic rate made the time out 
there still quite exciting and the beginning Perseids were 
also enjoyable.

Comments: Best meteors were a -2 sporadic far down near the 
horizon and the -1 Perseid that left a slightly afterglowing 
train, that disappeared at once.

P.S.: Yesterday's observation report looked very strange 
because of including lines > 70 characters (and because of 
my sendmail server having some problems with special 
characters like ° etc...). I hope it's better today.
