Best time for earthgrazers is from the time the radiant begins to rise at your location. Based on Columbia, SC it appears you are too far NORTH to catch true earthgrazers because the radiant is already 10 degrees high after the end of twilight and rises more from then on. (Even though you would likely see the longest path meteors anyway just after twilight)

You would need to go to about latitude 27N to catch true earthgrazers when the radiant rises just after twilight, which means somewhere in central Florida.
