(meteorobs) Observation 08/08/2002 + e-mail-coding

Hi!

My last e-mail somehow didn't look very good on the mailing list,
and I still don't know why. I'll just try the other codings my
mail software (kmail) supports... today I'll choose us-ascii
(sounds quite standard), but does anyone know more about these
problems?=20
OK, yesterday night was the first clear night after ten days of
clouds (I'm on summer holiday, there shouldn't be _any_ of them
in my view) and it already looks - well - moderate again.
But if 12th and 13th are clear, it's alright with me.=20

Comments: The sporadic fireball appeared somewhere near Big=20
Dipper, near enough from my field of view to see, but too far to
notice any exact details. I noted it as -4.5mag, simply because I
couldn't decide wheather it was -4 or -5. One of that fainter
sporadics, I think the 3.5mag in the first period didn't seem
plain, but even a bit glittering, which was the very first time I
saw something like this.
