(meteorobs) Observation August 16/17 (KACJA)

Hi,

I observed again with our youngest observer Jaka at his home. The
sky was not nearly as dark as we got used to see at our camp, but
it was still usable. Meteor activity was low with an average of 9
meteors per hour. The most active were still the Perseids, followed
by sporadic meteors and Kappa Cygnids. Also, one late Southern
Delta Aquarid was plotted.
My brightest meteor was a -0.5 magnitude Perseid in Pisces with a
1 second train.
As we were packing, Jaka also saw a -3 Perseid in Cygnus that I
naturally missed.

Clear skies!
Javor.
